Taylor Lam - DDS Class of 2025
Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Lam, and I am a current third year student at Dugoni. I’m from San Jose, CA, and for undergrad I went to UoP through the 3+3 Pre-Dental program where I received a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. As a former participant in PDB, I am so excited to help get others passionate about dentistry like it did for me. I also have roles in other organizations in dental school, but when I’m not busy with work you can find me in the gym or relaxing with my pet dog. Can’t wait to meet y’all soon!

Samantha Rovno - DDS Class of 2025
Hi all, my name is Samantha Rovno and I am a D3 here at UOP. I'm a Colorado native and received my BS in Biology at University of Colorado Denver in 2020. I currently live in San Mateo with my fiancé, grandmother, and two dogs. I love spending time outside with my friends and family: anything from yoga at the park to hiking near the beach, you can count me in! As a pre-dental student, I participated in a summer internship at my local dental school that ultimately inspired me to pursue dentistry as a career. I can't wait to meet you all and hope to provide a peek into what life is like as a dental student here at UOP!

Hey everyone!:) My name is Cassidy Kau and I’m from the Bay Area. I went to UOP and graduated with a BS in Biological Sciences. I have experience as a patient coordinator and dental assistant in a private practice and still work part-time on occasion. I am excited to share my experience and passion for dentistry. When I’m not at school or working, I enjoy exploring new cafes in the city, drawing, and crocheting. I look forward to working with you and make great memories!

Tim Cho - DDS Class of 2026
Hello everyone! My name is Tim Cho, and I’m from South Korea. I completed both my undergrad and grad studies at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, where I majored in Biology. In my free time, I love cooking, hitting the gym, and playing some video games. Back in my first year of dental school, I volunteered for the Pre-Dental Bootcamp (PDB), which gave me the chance to help others who were just as excited about dentistry as I am. It was a great experience that really helped me build up my communication and leadership skills. I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned and getting to know all of you as you start your own journey in dentistry!

Hi everyone! I’m Yumi Lee from Diamond Bar, CA. I graduated from UC San Diego with a double major in Molecular Biology and Public Health. During my gap years, I explored whether dentistry was the right path for me by working as a dental assistant. When I’m not busy with school, I love relaxing with some music, cooking up new recipes, and occasionally diving into video games. I’m really excited to support you all on your dentistry journey and can’t wait to see you soon!

Hi everyone! My name is Alice Zhang and I’m from Arcadia, California. I went to UOP for undergrad as a part of the 3+3 pre-dental program and received my degree in biology and a minor in psychology. When I’m not at school I love baking, exploring the city with friends, and cheering on the LA Lakers! Before applying to dental school, I found opportunities like PDB to be incredibly helpful and I’m really excited for the opportunity to meet and work with all of you to teach you more about the field of dentistry!

Hello! My name is Alissa Gozali, and I am currently a D2 at Dugoni. I grew up in China and Singapore before moving back to the States for undergrad at Pennsylvania State University, where I majored in Accounting (B.S.). I pivoted my career path after going on dental/medical mission trips and completed my post-baccalaureate program at San Francisco State University. When I’m not at school, I enjoy exploring new cafes and restaurants in the Bay Area, watching movies in theaters, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you all and hearing your stories! :)

Hey! My name is Andrew Yoo, and I’m from Lafayette, CA. For undergrad, I went to UoP through the 4+3 Pre-Dental program where I received a major in Biology.
